E-procurement is a web-based print production tool that has many benefits and provides a valuable add-on service for our clients.
Initially designed as a tool to cope with the preparation of business cards, it has developed into a system that now generates a variety of different types of print collateral, and this is always growing.
The system allows clients anywhere to manage their print requirements through the website. Using preset templates that are set to reflect the client’s brand standards. Clients can create their own business cards, letterheads, envelopes and any other preset form loaded on the site that requires personalisation.
The system takes you through a simple step by step process of selecting the item you wish to
order, adding details like name and title, proofing instantly on screen and allows you to save for future use or send to print. An authorisation level can also be added if required.
In all cases we have worked with our clients to determine their requirements in regards to branding, stock requirements, delivery requirements and invoicing requirements. This is a pre-determined instruction and the system allows for complete control of all elements. Any changes to branding can only be made by our prepress team and we will only do this on advice from our client’s key contacts. In the instance of a division or a person other than a key contact who is requesting changes to the branding, they will be directed back to our key contact.
(a) Each item will have its own category and/or show under Corporate Stationery folder, i.e.: business cards, letterheads, compliment slips, envelopes. A price list will be available online showing quantities available and pricing for each item.
(b) Instant proofing is part of the system as above.
(c) Multiple users with password protected profiles can be set up. Cost centre groups, general ledger numbers, shipping address and invoicing address are all available.
(d) Training will be available for all sites and is on-going both in person and via phone and email.
(e) An 0800 number is available nationwide and this is directed to Robyn Johnson, Sales Support for the online system.
